Why did you choose ULMaS for your A-Levels?
I chose ULMaS for my A Levels as I was unsure about a career path and I knew the college would provide me with expert advice and routes to success that might not be available in other colleges. I was aware of my maths ability and recognised that this was a superb environment to grow my skills.
Which A-Levels are you studying for?
I’m currently taking A Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
What else are you involved in at ULMaS?
I currently lead the Student Cabinet, which allows us to connect students and staff seamlessly and address issues from all members of ULMaS. I regularly partake in sports on a Friday afternoon for Enrichment which I enjoy as I can have friendly competition with my friends.
Do you enjoy your time at ULMaS? What kind of student does this school suit?
I really enjoy coming to college every morning; it’s such a change from high school in the sense that we have so much independence in the choices that we make and it helps you learn academically and general life skills so much faster and in a bespoke way. If you are a hard-working, ambitious student with a passion for maths that makes you stand out from the crowd, ULMaS will be a great place for you.
What are you hoping to do in future?
I am currently in Y12, preparing to begin my UCAS application and developing an industry project alongside studying my A Levels. ULMaS have given me brilliant support in starting these new opportunities that were previously very foreign to me.
I am not sure what I would like to do after college, I am looking at both universities and degree apprenticeships and I am looking forward to my careers interviews starting soon to explore more options available to me.
