University of Liverpool

We are based on the University of Liverpool campus with unprecedented access to the team and facilities of this exceptional world leading University. We work closely with the University of Liverpool to offer University of Liverpool Maths School students access to world-class academics,  library facilities, sporting facilities and student life.  We are a separate legal entity to the University with policies and approaches which are designed for 16-19 education, but the University plays a key role in our governance with significant university representation on the Board of Trustees and the Members of Trust.

The Tutor Trust is a registered charity which aims to help tackle educational inequality in a unique way.

Our mission is to ‘transform lives through tutoring’ by making sure every child who needs some additional academic support can access a great tutor.   We recruit and trains tutors, predominantly from local universities, in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science and place them in state schools.

The Tutor Trust support us in our outreach work and currently have their Liverpool office based in our building.
