We are also hoping to do an in person Open Evening and a series of summer schools for Y10, 11 and 12 in the summer term is restrictions are lifted.

This will give you all you need to know for you to make the decision whether we are the Sixth Form you would like to join in September.
We have postponed the in person open evening planned for June 21st until September. You will be able to meet staff and students and find out what we offer. Headteachers talks are at 6.15pm and 7.15pm. This is open to pupils, teachers, parents and employers in the area that would like to find out more out our sixth form and the outreach we offer to pupils in the Liverpool City Region.

A tour of the school on a normal day from students showing the current facilities in the Sir Alastair Pilkington building which is our home until we move to our purpose built building in September 2022.
We can offer 25 minute tours for household groups on site. The videos we will post should give you a very good idea of the facilities, but we are happy to show you in person if preferred. We will update you regarding the current guidance and procedures before your visit to ensure everyone stays safe. These tours are by appointment only and will be at the following times:

We are hoping to run a taster day for offer holders and applicants on Friday 25th June, and are currently monitoring Covid infection rates carefully. If you would like to attend this and have not received an invitation, please contact school reception.

Taster Day Format– 0945 am– 12.45pm on a Saturday, a taste of each lesson in Maths, Physics and Computer Science

Staff and students will give updates on what we have been doing, all are available on our YouTube channel, in the vlog playlist, which you can access here.
We are very active on social media and like to share all that is happening at the Maths School. Do follow us and share our posts as we want as many students in the Liverpool City Region to feel confident to study Maths beyond GCSE wherever they go to study after year 11.
